Test your fitness at our brand new TPT Individual Throwdown!

We're taking over the amazing facility at Crossfit Lutterworth for an an electric day of competition. Check out the details below and grab your ticket, the quantity in each category is limited!

There are 80 athlete spaces available, over 4 categories: 

  • Scaled Females (20 spaces available)
  • Scaled Males (20 spaces available)
  • RX Females (20 spaces available)
  • RX Males (20 spaces available)

What to expect on the day:

  • 4 Scored events for all athletes 
  • Events will cover a range of training modalities, creating a well balanced test
  • Awesome event partners and podium prizes 
  • Welcoming and supportive community
  • Professional photography from the day

Movement Standards (Scaled categories)

  • The ability to complete all basic bodyweight movements (sit up, squat with hip crease below parallel, lunge with knee to the floor, burpee etc)
  • A proficiency in barbell movements like; front squat, clean and jerk, snatch, bench press etc. 
  • Kettlebells16/12kg
  • Wallballs 9/6kg
  • Dumbbells 15/10kg
  • Barbell cycling at 42.5/30 
  • The above are guidelines only to assist you in choosing the correct category, expect a wide range of movements on the day
  • This category is for beginner athletes that want to test themselves in challenging workouts without the pressure of high skill gymnastics and with lighter barbell cycling weights. 

Movement Standards (RX Categories)

  • The ability to complete all basic bodyweight movements (sit up, squat with hip crease below parallel, lunge with knee to the floor, burpee etc)
  • A proficiency in barbell movements like; front squat, clean and jerk, snatch, bench press etc. 
  • Kettlebells 24/16kg
  • Wallballs 9/6kg
  • Dumbbells 22.5/15kg
  • Barbell cycling at 60/40kg
  • Chest to bar (m)/ Pull ups (f) and Toes to bar (both)
  • The above are guidelines only to assist you in choosing the correct category, expect a wide range of movements on the day
  • This category is for athletes who can complete most workouts RX. It is also perfect for athletes wanting to push up to the RX level for the first time. Even if you class yourself as an intermediate athlete, this is the category for you, so long as you can do the movements listed above. 

In all 4 categories the workouts will be cleverly programmed to allow you to test your fitness to the fullest, without any curveballs that might stop you halfway through a workout (we won't throw 30 muscle ups into the middle of a workout, for example). 

This event is to be a fun, community driven and welcoming event, so sign up with your mates, cheer on your peers and bring all your friends and family down to enjoy the show, as spectators get in free!

WOD 1
Score: Weight (kg) 6 minute time cap

CLEAN AND JERK LADDER

6 Min EMOM (45s on / 15s transition)

  • Female scaled weights 20-25-30-35-40-45
  • Female RX weights 40-45-50-55-60 -65
  • Male Scaled weights 40-45-50-55-60-65
  • Male RX weights 50-60-70-80-90-100

Workout flow

  • Athletes will have 45s on each station to complete AMRAP clean and jerk
  • Bar must go from floor to the rack position and then overhead with athletes finishing at full extension, elbows locked and bar overhead with arms next to the ears. 
  • They will then have 15s to transition to the next bar
  • Any clean from the floor is allowed (Muscle/ Power/ Squat/ Split) 
  • Any STO is allowed (strict press/ push press/ push jerk/ split jerk)
  • The athletes score is reps X weight on each station, combined for total KG's lifted. 
  • If athletes cannot clean a weight they can complete deadlift reps. 5 x deadlifts = 1 clean and jerk rep. 
  • Athletes MUST attempt clean and jerks on every station before deadlifts can be attempted.

WOD 2
Score: Rounds + Reps 12 minute time cap

NOTE: WODS 2+3 will be completed back to back, but will be scored seperately. 

WOD 2 = 6 Min AMRAP

  • 24 Bar hops
  • 12 Thrusters 
  • 9 TTB (RX)/ Sit-ups (scaled) 
  • 6 Snatches 

Workout Flow:

  • Bar weights for females are 35/25kg
  • Bar weights for Males are 50/40kg 
  • Score is Rounds + reps completed 
  • Bar Hops must be jumping for RX athetes, scaled athletes can jump or step over.

WOD 3
Score: Rounds + Reps 0 minute time cap

NOTE: WOD 3 continues straight after workout 2, but is scored seperately. 

WOD 3 - 6 MIN AMRAP

  • 12 ALT Front rack reverse lunges 
  • 9 Burpees over the bar 
  • 6 C2B (Male RX) / Pull ups (Female RX) / KB russian swings (all scaled) at 16/12kg

Workout flow:

  • On ''GO'' athletes can clean the bar to the rack position and start their front rack reverse lunges. The athletes knee must touch the floor and then the athlete must stand to full extension before starting their next rep.
  • Once 12 reps are completed athletes will start their 9 burpees over the bar. This begins with athletes going chest and thighs to the floor then travelling over the bar to complete 1 rep. RX athletes must jump over, scaled can step
  • Athletes can perform strict, kipping or butterfly C2B/ pull ups in their respective categories. Arms must start straight and chest must touch the bar/ chin must pass the horizontal height of the pull up bar. Russian swings start with the KB between the legs and finishes with KB and wrists above shoulder height and arms straight, with body fully extended. 
  • Score = Rounds + reps completed

WOD 4
Score: Time 12 minute time cap

WOD 4 - 2 Rounds FOR TIME

  • 30 DB snatch (22.5/15 - RX) (15/10 - Scaled)
  • 30 Box jump overs (RX) / Box overs (Scaled) (all 24/20'')
  • 20 DB Hang Clusters 
  • 20 DB Box step overs 
  • 10 DB Hang clean and STO
  • 10 Burpee box jump overs (RX) / Burpee Box overs (Scaled)

Workout flow:

  • On ''GO'' athletes can start their DB snatch, which must go from floor to overhead in one movement, finishing with athlete stood tall and elbow locked out with arm next to the ear. 
  • On the Box overs RX athletes must jump two footed, scaled athletes can step on or jump on to the box. All athletes must have two feet touch the box and then may jump or step down on the other side of the box to complete their rep. 
  • Hang clusters must start with the athlete deadlifting the DB to full extension, then hang clean into a full squat and then thruster overhead to complete their rep. The DB then goes back to the hang to start the next rep,. 
  • DB's must be held on the step overs, but can be held in any position i.e goblet, on the shoulders etc. 
  • On the hang clean and sto the athlete must once again deadlift first, then take the DB from the hang to the shoulder then overhead to full extension to complete a rep. Arm next to the ear same as the clusters. 
  • Burpees must be side on the the box for the burpee box overs starting with chest and thighs on the floor and the same box over standard stands from earlier box over movements. 
  • DB's can NOT be dropped in this workout. Dropped DBs from any height uncur an immediate 5 burpee penalty.

Hey athletes,

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for signing up to our Individual Throwdown last Sunday, what a day! 

The event couldn't have happened without you, but also our army of volunteers that brought their A-game, the awesome team at CF Lutterworth and our fantastic event partners. So thank you!

Not sure about you, but I always get a low after an event, so much hype and then nothing....luckily this time it's a bit different, because our next competiton is only 3 weeks away! 

I really hope you'll join us for our fun, challenging and inclusive Threes Throwdown over at Vorto Fitness in Wolverhampton.

Here's what's going on: 

  • 11th October 2025 
  • Same Sex Open categories for any athletes aged 18+
  • Same Sex Masters Categories is for any athletes aged 35+ (team age total must be 120+ years)
  • Same sex teams of 3 event
  • 4 workouts for every team 
  • Inclusive, challenging and fun workouts 
  • Masters workouts will be programmed specifically for Masters atheletes 
  • Awesome prizes for all podium teams (seperate podiums for Open and Masters categories)
  • Food and drinks available all day
  • Multiple vendors/ event partners
  • Professional photographs from the day
  • This is a community driven, welcoming Throwdown!

Hello athletes,

It's the time you've all been waiting for! 

Here is all the info you will need regarding the event this Sunday...

General event info:

  • The gym address is CrossFit Lutterworth, Wycliffe House, Gilmorton road, LE17 4DY
  • Spectators get in free, so bring the whole family
  • Well behaved children and dogs are allowed but must be kept safely away from the workout floor (and on leads for our furry friends). 
  • Athlete arrival is 0800-0810. Please DO NOT arrive before this time. 
  • Athlete briefing will be at 0810-0820 and WOD 1 kicks off at 0845.
  • We have a projected finish time of 1630
  • All workouts will be released and briefed on the day
  • Camping chairs are allowed OUTSIDE but please do not bring them indoors as they take up too much space
  • There will be a limited amount of space outside for gazebos should you decide to bring one, first come first served
  • Event staff are almost all volunteers, so please treat them with the respect and kindness they deserve. Judges will be well briefed on the day and are seasoned Crossfitters. 

What vendors will there be?

  • The CF Lutterworth cafe will be serving up hot drinks (including decent coffee), Nocco, Protein bars, homemade sausage rolls, bacon baps, protein porridge and more! 
  • Bostin Bakery will be on hand for all your sweet treats, if you haven't tried one of their cookies yet then you're in for a treat (tip: Grab a box and treat the family).
  • With Attitude Activewear will have a pop-up shop so get ready to freshen up your workout wardbrobe!

Where shall I park?

  • There are two available car parks within a 2 minute walk of the gym. The medical Centre car park is at LE17 4DZ and The Wycliffe Medical Practice car park is at LE17 4EB. Please make sure you adhere to any parking notices as we take no responsibility for charges or penalties incurred. 
  • Please note: There is NO parking outside the gym at Wycliffe House. 

What will I need to bring? 

  • General kit like lifting shoes, gymnastics grips etc if you use them.
  • Water bottle and reusable travel mug for hot drinks. 
  • Email confirmation of your ticket.
  • Your best cheering voice to support your peers!

Dear athletes,

Thanks for signing up to our first ever Individual Throwdown at CF Lutterworth! 

The response to the launch of this competition has been epic and we're super grateful. 

We're also excited to announce that this event is already at over 50% capacity and tickets are still selling fast. 

If you want to bring along your training buddies, now is the time to get on to them to book their tickets, as we won't be releasing any extra ones once we sell out!

On Sunday we launched our TPT Individual Throwdown and the response has been amazing! 

We have now past the 30% sold mark in just over 36 hours.

Our goal is to create a supportive and welcoming stage for you to come and test your fitness at one of the best gyms in the area, CrossFit Lutterworth!
